EUROPEAN DAY OF LANGUAGES - 26th SEPTEMBER

There are over 6000 languages spoken in the world. And behind each and every one of them lies a rich and diverse culture. That’s what the European Day of Languages (EDL) aims to celebrate - by showing people across Europe how important languages are, and what fun can be had learning them.

26 September is the all important day and 2011 marks the Day's 10th anniversary following the decision of the Council of Europe to declare a European Day of Languages to be celebrated on 26 September each year.

REMEMBERING 9/11 -10TH ANNIVERSARY

Each year, one of the nost moving commemorations of September 11 is the Tribute in Light. 88 searchlights tha stretch four miles into the sky to create a ghostly monment to the Twin Towers

In honor of the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, numerous exhibits, concerts, films, readings, talks, performances, and memorial services will reflect on the desvatation of that day and its aftermath, each on a poignant reminder of why those towers of light (which return once again at dusk on September 11) still have the power to choke us up. 

THE LOVE WE MAKE - TRAILER

As we approach the tenth anniversary 9/11, see "The Love We Make" documenting Paul's journey through New York in the aftermath of the World trade Center's destruction, Paul was in Nwe York that day, and saw the consequences of one of the most horrific days in U.S history.

"The Love We Make" documents Paul's role in the benefit concert, "The Concert for New York City" which took place after the attacks.
